Certificate translation

The certificates Qatar residents need most

Family residence, job licensing, school admission and degree equivalency all start with a correctly translated certificate.

Most people in Qatar hold certificates issued in their home country, in Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, Tagalog, Nepali, French or another language. When a Qatari office asks for an Arabic translation, it needs a certified translation from a licensed office, with every name, date and stamp shown correctly.

We translate the full certificate, including seals, stamps and attestation endorsements, and lay it out to mirror the original so the official checking it can match each line. Names follow your passport spelling, and dates are written clearly so there is no confusion between formats.

What to have ready

  • A clear scan or photo of every page, including the back if it has stamps.
  • Your passport page, so names are spelled exactly as in your passport.
  • Where the translation will be submitted, so we match that office’s format.
  • Whether the certificate is already attested, so the stamps are translated too.
  • Your deadline, so we can plan same-day delivery if needed.
  • How many certified copies you need.

Certificate translation FAQ

Questions about certificate translation

Still have a question?

Our team answers on WhatsApp during office hours, usually within minutes.

Do I need attestation before translating my certificate?

For certificates issued outside Qatar, most offices want the attestation steps done first (issuing country, its foreign ministry, the Qatar embassy, then MOFA Qatar) and then a certified Arabic translation that includes the stamps. Check with the office receiving the document; we can confirm the usual order for your case.

Will the names match my passport?

Yes. Send a copy of the passport page and we use the exact passport spelling for every name, so the translation matches your other documents.

Can I get a certificate translated the same day?

Most single-page certificates such as birth, marriage and police clearance certificates can be ready the same day when sent in the morning. Tell us your deadline when you request a quote.

Can you translate from a photo?

A clear photo or scan is enough for a quote and usually for the translation. The receiving office may ask to see the original, so keep it ready.

Which languages can you translate certificates from?

Certificates arrive in many languages in Qatar. We translate from Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Urdu, Bengali, Nepali, Sinhala, Tagalog, French, Russian, Turkish, Chinese and 100+ other languages into Arabic or English.

How many copies will I receive?

One stamped original is included. Extra certified copies are available for a small charge, which helps when several offices need the same certificate.
