Legal translation in Doha
Contracts, court documents, powers of attorney and corporate legal papers translated by specialist legal translators, certified with stamp and signature, and formatted to match your original.
Why it matters
Arabic is the language of Qatari courts and government. A foreign-language contract or judgment usually needs a certified Arabic translation before it is accepted.
Legal documents carry obligations, deadlines and rights. A single mistranslated clause, a wrong party name or a shifted date can change what a contract means or delay a case. Legal translation is not word-for-word work: Qatar follows a civil-law system, many foreign documents come from common-law countries, and terms that look similar can carry different legal effects.
Our legal translators work only on legal and official documents. They keep terminology consistent from the first clause to the last, reproduce the structure of the original (numbering, schedules, signatures and stamps) and flag anything unclear in the source instead of guessing.
Every legal translation is checked by a second linguist against the original before it is certified, so names, numbers, dates and defined terms match exactly.

Legal translation FAQ

Qatari courts, notary offices and ministries expect legal translations to come from a licensed translation office. The translation carries the translator's stamp and signature and the office seal, confirming it matches the original.
Yes. We translate powers of attorney from Arabic into English and other languages, and from foreign languages into Arabic. If the document must also be attested, tell us the destination country so the translation matches what that country's embassy expects.
That depends on the contract's governing-language clause, which is a legal question for your lawyer. We can prepare a side-by-side Arabic and English version so both parties read the same terms, and keep terminology consistent across every clause.

A power of attorney or a short agreement is often ready the same day or the next working day. Long contracts and case files are scheduled with you, and we can deliver urgent sections first.
